Indirect Agent Interaction within an Approach for a Robust Transport Control in Dynamic and Multimodal Logistics Networks

چکیده
This paper outlines the motivation for a robust transport control in dynamic and multimodal logistics networks. For the accomplishment of this overall goal our current research effort intends to contribute by the development of a decentral and heterarchical organised control approach. This approach is implemented as a multi-agent system. Thereby, a new mechanism combining indirect and direct interaction between transport requesting and offering agents will be studied. This paper presents the blueprint of the indirect interaction. It is realised by a coordination artifact, which incorporates stigmergic mechanisms. This artifact represents a logistics network and is a workspace commonly shared by all agents.

Robust Fault Detection on Boiler-turbine Unit Actuators Using Dynamic Neural Networks
Due to the important role of the boiler-turbine units in industries and electricity generation, it is important to diagnose different types of faults in different parts of boiler-turbine system. Different parts of a boiler-turbine system like the sensor or actuator or plant can be affected by various types of faults. In this paper, the effects of the occurrence of faults on the actuators are in...
متن کاملCooperative Control of Multiple Quadrotors for Transporting a Common Payload
This paper investigates the problem of controlling a team of Quadrotors that cooperatively transport a common payload. The main contribution of this study is to propose a cooperative control algorithm based on a decentralized algorithm. This strategy is comprised of two main steps: the first one is calculating the basic control vectors for each Quadrotor using Moore–Penrose theory aiming at coo...
متن کاملA robust optimization model for distribution and evacuation in the disaster response phase
Natural disasters, such as earthquakes, affect thousands of people and can cause enormous financial loss. Therefore, an efficient response immediately following a natural disaster is vital to minimize the aforementioned negative effects. This research paper presents a network design model for humanitarian logistics which will assist in location and allocation decisions for multiple disaster per...
متن کاملTowards agent-based multi-site scheduling
Scheduling problems are usually treated within single plant environments or within companies with several production locations. Due to the globalization of markets companies can no longer be regarded isolated from each other. They are in fact elements of spatially distributed production and logistics networks, where apart from the actual production process transport and stock keeping gain impor...
متن کاملA Multi-Objective Fuzzy Approach to Closed-Loop Supply Chain Network Design with Regard to Dynamic Pricing
During the last decade, reverse logistics networks received a considerable attention due to economic importance and environmental regulations and customer awareness. Integration of leading and reverse logistics networks during logistical network design is one of the most important factors in supply chain. In this research, an Integer Linear Programming model is presented to design a multi-layer...
